1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Jester Dice (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Jester Dice. If you are under 18, you may use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian. Accounts and purchases must be made by someone authorized to use the payment method.
3. License to Use
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service without our written permission.
4. Accounts
Some features require an account. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Contact us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
5. Deluxe Purchase and Billing
Jester Dice offers Deluxe as a one-time purchase. The price is shown at checkout before you complete your purchase. Deluxe does not automatically renew and does not create a recurring subscription. After payment is confirmed, Deluxe access is tied to your Jester Dice account and may be restored by signing in to that account. Deluxe stays active for as long as the Service is operated (see Section 13). Before buying, you must confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and our Purchase & Refund Policy.
6. Refund Policy
All sales are generally final. If you experience a technical problem or accidental purchase, contact us within 14 days and we will review your request. Refunds are issued at our discretion or as required by applicable law. If a refund is issued, access to Deluxe features may be removed from the account associated with the purchase.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You may not use the Service to cheat, exploit bugs, harass other players, distribute malware, impersonate others, or violate any law. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules.
8. Intellectual Property
Jester Dice, its logos, dice designs, scorecard layouts, code, and content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You retain ownership of any scorecards or game results you export for personal use.
9. Disclaimers
Jester Dice is a game of chance and entertainment, not gambling. No real money or prizes are awarded. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jester Dice and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. In any event, our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona and the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Arizona.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms with a new effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
13. Service Availability and Discontinuation
Deluxe is a one-time purchase that unlocks Deluxe features for as long as we operate the Service. It is not a promise that the Service will be available forever.
We may change, suspend, or permanently shut down the Service, in whole or in part, at any time, including if we stop operating the business. If we plan to shut down the Service, we will try to give at least 30 days’ notice on the website or by email.
After a shutdown, accounts, sign-in, saved cloud game history, and other online features will stop working, and stored account data will be deleted. Any game already installed on your device may stop working too. We recommend exporting any scorecards you want to keep before then.
Except where the law requires otherwise, or for a purchase still within the refund window in our Purchase & Refund Policy, no refund or other compensation is owed if the Service is changed, suspended, or shut down.
